I am very intrigued by water and the ocean, and I knew I would want to stick with my ocean theme from project #3 and continue it into project #4. Creating the look of water with clay sounds extremely challenging, but I'm up for the challenge! For the figure aspect, I wanted my figure to be sort of engulfed in the water, like the water will be apart of/flowing around the figure. I researched sculptures of water and different kinds of figures to get an idea of what direction I would want to go in. To the right are the pictures I found that inspired me!
